About Us
Barbara A. Glover, ChFC, is a native of Jacksonville and feels it is the perfect place to live. She returned to Jacksonville after living in many cities and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Management from the University of North Florida.
Mrs. Glover has owned her own business for many years, being associated with Capital Analysts and Money Concepts as her broker dealer. She specializes in financial planning and works with a varied range of investment, security and wealth management issues, including retirement, asset accumulation, children's assets, money management, employee benefits and wealth transfer. She is active with various investment strategies, choices and insurance, including life, specialty, dental and travel insurances. Barbara works with individuals to find the appropriate methods and solutions on a personal, confidential and ethical basis.
She was in management and an agent for a large property and casualty insurance company and administered several departments and advised clients on financial and property & casualty needs. Her financial background includes experience managing corporate loans, bonds and international currency while engaged in clearing house operations in the United States and Europe for
American Express, Gmbh.
Mrs. Glover is currently a member of the International Association of Financial Planning, National Association of Life Insurance and Financial Advisors, The Society of Financial Service Professionals and has been Financial and Stewardship Chair of various civic and church organizations. Past administrative commitments have been with First Choice Child Enrichment Center, First Coast Tennis Association, past President and Outstanding Alumnus of
UNF Alumni Association.
Mrs. Glover and her husband, Harvey, have four daughters and two sons-in-law, spread from Gainesville, Florida to Malibu, California to Portland, Oregon.
